For over two decades, Johannesburg-based artist Lisa Crumpton has explored emotion through oil paint — blending bold colour with deep contrast and deeper thought. Her work spans abstract landscapes, florals, and seascapes, all inviting you to lean in… and decide what they mean to you.
Influenced by her early years in the Eastern Cape, Lisa’s art often echoes windswept dunes, sea scapes, and the sudden bloom of colour against shadow. Experiementing with pallette knife, Lisa's vivid floral series painted on a black backgrounds carries a message of hope emerging from stillness.
